Daniel established the firm with practice areas mainly consisting of family and commercial/banking law. He had previous experience as a legal practitioner in Johannesburg and served a commercial bank for nearly a decade. During his time at the commercial bank, he was involved in the merger of several banks. He assisted the newly established bank’s human resources department on labour issues, for which he was specially trained at UNISA.

The firm expanded with the addition of Yolandie Borman in 2005. She is currently the director of the Family and Child Law division and co-responsible for the Labour Law division of the firm.

Banking Law in South Africa

Banking law in South Africa, a critical subset of commercial law, is governed by a comprehensive framework that includes the Banks Act 94 of 1990, the Financial Sector Regulation Act, the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, and other key legislation. Litigation of this nature can be well managed by us in order to attempt to ensure a legal solution to this kind of cases.
